Driving Antics

Today I went on a quest with my mother to find Lucille Ball memoribilia. There were I Love Lucy collectible dolls on sale at a store call Big Lots!.

I discovered that my mother did not know how to drive today. She has her driving quirks but today she was on a roll. First she completely ran a stop sign, as I was saying "stop sign, stop sign!"

As we were searching for the store I saw the sign for it on the sign of the road. I pointed and said "it's right there." She looked around wondering where I was pointing and proceeded to run a red light. We had to turn around. I laughed as I wondered out loud, "why do I bother?"

We parked the car and went into what we thought was the Big Lots! We were sadly mistaken. The store was filled with home improvement items, it felt like a Home Depot. As we left we realized we were in the wrong store.
