Southern Gothic Productions, a production company set in North Carolina, has started a book club; entitiled SoGoPro's book club.
The latest recommendation is The Pillowman, a play written by Martin McDonagh. The play details the interrogation of Katurian K. Katurian (yes the K stands for Katurian as well). Katurian is a writer, telling "fictional" tales of child murders. The murders are very gruesome. There had been several murders committed in the play and the details of the crimes bear a striking resemblance to Katurian's stories. The police believe that Katurian has committed the crimes.
So far I have only read two acts, but the play is captivating, a new twist on every page. I suggest you get yourself a copy.
A call back to a previous post: I talked about a book I had read; Wise Blood. The book was fantastic and now I have discovered that a movie was made in 1979 and they are releasing it on DVD in May. Here's the trailer:
