Happy Thanksgiving to those of you that celebrate it. I don't know about anyone else but every year, at my house, we break the wishbone from the turkey. If you get the bigger half then you get a wish. It's kinda silly but I do it because I want to win. Unfortunately it seems that I lose every year, except this year, I finally won!!!! My thanksgiving is now joyful and fulfilled.
On a side note, I am a self proclaimed Gleek. If you don't know what that means than you definitely should find out. Glee is this show on FOX about a group of misfit glee club members. They sing fantastic covers of popular songs to keep the plot moving and as actual performances. Here are a couple from this week's episode. I may convert some future Gleeks yet.

Is That Harry Potter?
Miss Moon and I recently got reaquainted with our inner child. Harry Potter has been around since we were in middle school and we've kind of grown up with it.
With the success of the movies, based on the books, there has been an exhibition created. The exhibit showcases memorabilia from the movies. This includes costumes, props, parts of the sets. I almost got to see this when it was in Chicago but "missed the boat."
When it came to Boston I got another opportunity and was not about to pass it up. Unfortunately Miss Moon and I chose the worst possible day to go on. Not only was it on a saturday but there was pouring rain from Ida. The traffic was horrible and we nearly missed our time to enter the exhibit. Luckily we didn't get too wet.
The exhbit itself was certainly interesting. There were all sorts of little things from the movies. There was the egg from the fourth movie that Harry used for a clue, a replica of Hagrid's Hut, and many other interesting artifacts. We had a good time, even though the place was packed and there were so many people.

Eisley

Last Friday I went to the House of Blues again. This time to see Eisley, although they weren't the headlining band. If you haven't heard of Eisley than you should definitely familiarize yourself with them, especially since they will (hopefully) have a new album coming out soon.
Two other bands opened before them. One was called Moving Mountains, I think. They were just a bunch of boys up there rocking out. They played a lot of music but none of the songs seemed to have lyrics, haha. I must say they were entertaining.
The second band was Moneen. This was not my type of band. Clearly this band is falling apart at the seems. Members have quit and other new members had to be flown in to replace them. The band didn't even have their own equipment, it was borrowed from Moving Mountains. I think I would classify this as a screamo band. One song consisted of nothing but "Die! Die! Die!" over music.
I have been waiting for Eisley to come up here to the Northeast for some time now, finally my wish is granted. They certainly didn't let me down, playing all my faves. They recently released a new EP called Fire Kite. I was not impressed, didn't buy anything from it. Although when they played the new stuff on stage I found myself thinking this stuff is good. Live performances can sometimes do that for you.
A small amusing anecdote, when they sang Come Clean something went wrong. I'm not sure what happened but the song ended very abruptly. They joked with the audience that this was the new ending to the song.
