To Hell and Back

For some reason I agreed to go back to the mountain park from hell. Miss Moon can be very persuasive. This time wasn't actually that bad. Persuasive....all I said was let's go back to the mountain and finish the trail. how is that persuasive?

We took the paved road up to the summit this time. Mary Jane was much happier. I was willing to try the rest of the trail, on the way down off of the mountain. Miss Moon actually let me lead this time. Partially because I have better shoes and she didn't want to fall. Truth hurts I didn't have the best shoes though I still wanted to lead. I'll just have to get her to go on a harder trail and then Miss Moon can lead. Now I didn't get us lost like Miss Moon but I did accidently lead us toward some interesting dogs, lol. I think lost is better anyday over vicious dogs. That's just my opinion though.We hightailed it outa there. On the way back there was this really interesting tree. Take a look:

We got back to the car and Miss Moon noticed some smoke billowing in the distance. It was really thick grey smoke so I knew it wasn't like someone burning firewood. Due to morbid curiousity we found the area. We weren't the only ones there. It looked like there was a barn on fire. The firetrucks arrived shortly to put out the fire. Hopefully no one was hurt. We are still waiting for information but it just happened today. It really was quite surprising!! I just had to take a picture, but I hope everything went decent and no one lost their lives.
