GLEE LIVE
Got back from NYC on Sunday. Miss Moon accompanied me on the trip this time. I like going there in the summer rather than in the winter. Central Park was gorgeous.
We went to see the Glee Tour at Radio City Music Hall. They put on a wonderful show. Much more theatrical and spectacular than I anticipated. The set was incredible, complete with fireworks and amazing light effects. They preformed some of their hits like "Don't Stop Believing" and "Somebody to Love" but also new ones that haven't even aired yet like the Journey mash-up. It was everything that I thought it would be and more.
Went back to the Natural History Museum again. Had a better time this trip because we have learned that the Subway is our friend, you don't have to walk everywhere. Overall, pretty awesome trip.

Promises, Promises

Got back from an enjoyable trip to New York. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. Is is wrong that I am excited to go back there in a week.
This trip included a visit with Promises, Promises, a new revival on Broadway. I had heard some not so great reviews and I have no idea why, it was awesome. Sean Hayes is brilliant with his comedy and a lovely singer. Of course Kristin Chenoweth nails it even with a smaller part than I anticipated. Her rendition of Say A Little Prayer was perfect.
Went to the Jewish Heritage Museum and it was interesting. It had very fascinating facts and artifacts from Jewish culture and the Holocaust. Went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art after that. Boy is that place huge. I don't even think we made it through half of the exhibits and we were there for several hours. I would have to say my favorites were Monet, Renoir, maybe a little Degas thrown in there.
See you in a few more days New York.
Found these cool murals of Alice in Wonderland down in the subway at 50th st.

Motorcycle Dogs and Sleeping Boys
On the ride home last weekend we saw one of the most adorable things ever, a dog riding on a motorcycle. He even had little goggles to protect his face.

Last week Miss Moon and I were loading the car with stuff to bring home for summer vacation. I look over to the car next to mine and there was a boy fast asleep in his car. Why he decided to take a nap in his car I'll never know. Miss Moon goes take a picture so here it is.

This weekend my mom decided to do yard work after the winter season. We have a place to dump all of your scraps from the yard at the end of the street. I was washing my car and my mom comes back and tells me that the mower is stuck in the mud. I had to go down there with her and together we were able to push and pull the mower out of the ditch. What a weekend.

Russell Brand

Got back from seeing Russell Brand perform in Boston. He did a wonderful job with jokes from Sarah Palin to Twilight. He didn't perform as long as I had anticipated but I guess thats true of everything. As a surprise he brought out Jonah Hill, from Superbad and Knocked Up. That was nice and totally unexpected. I'm guessing he was there to help promote their new film. Definitely recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
Read his book too its really funny.

Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang

Went to see Chelsea Handler on Saturday night. She was amazing, knocked it out of the park. If you are reading this and thinking I don't know who Chelsea Handler is, then you must live under a rock. Chelsea is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and has a late night talk show on E! Unfortunately we were in the last row, but trust me we were lucky to get that. The show was sold out, in fact I'm pretty sure practically all of her shows have sold out. They did have those jumbotron screens so that made it better. If you ever get the opportunity you should take advantage of it and go see her live.
